Deacon forged Moon Gold assassination documents while Darren talked his way to the front door, then snapped and attacked Elena when she called the Abigors 'filth,' triggering a brutal three-way brawl that saw Azquireth transform into his monstrous Danceler form and get cut down by Deacon before the party could coordinate. The party escaped as Elena's emergency bell summoned militia, leaving behind forged documents and a dead guard, only to be lured into a cellar by a cryptic old peddler where a massive violet-eyed tentacled entity — quoting scripture and offering 'no sin, no guilt' — strobed white and reset the entire day. All three characters woke with full memory of events that had been erased, setting up a second run at the same morning with foreknowledge of what went wrong.”
