“Party was asked to investigate the goings-on on the astral plane by Vizier Parker. During a town meeting a concerned citizen expressed disbelief that slaad were real and was strong armed into joining the party on the adventure. Party went to a previously cleared Spawn Point and during the ritual to reopen to portal to the Astral, a disaster ensued sucking both Tim the Druid and Planerider Ryome into the Astral while a Slaad emerged. The party defeated the creature and followed into the Astral Plane. On the Astral they discovered a shattered city that had been shunted and reflected from the material plane a long long time ago. The group explored the ruins a bit, ambushed a would-be ambusher, and then ascended to the city gates where they discovered both Ryome and Tim captured by the Slaads. A bloody combat ensued and the light/eye above the tower in the heart of the city flared as a voice roared out "QUIET!" causing slaad to flee from the city in every direction. The party made their escape after looting the guardroom at the base of the gate.”
