Dahc the Frog Slays Two Undead Hippos, The Party Encounters The Black Death

“The party recapped their zombie battle at Camp Vengeance and watched Dahc awaken in his new grung frog body, courtesy of the late Fridge's javelin-and-gold-fueled shopping spree with Ord Firebeard. After a marathon haggling session over a mirror-image cape and heavy armor, the group departed for Ambala only to discover a dying, necrotically-clawed T-Rex hurled into camp, revealing that the legendary Black Death was active nearby. On the road south, Thrain, Bob, Oak, Kaarl, and Dahc fought off two undead hippopotamuses, with Dahc going down and then exploding both corpses with guiding bolt and sacred flame for the session's two kills. That night the Black Death itself appeared in a bubble of eerie silence, freezing most of the party in terror before vanishing, and the group pressed on to find a corpse with cursed living gloves, a ring of warmth, and healing potions before reaching the cliffs below Ambala.”
