Back in a suddenly bustling Emberwood Village, Hjalgran turned merchant, unloading magical caramels, breath mints, and the Cloak of Arachnida for a fortune while dodging questions about Ryan Graymare's excommunication. Eldrick repaired the Inscrutable Staff and handed formal custody to Soline, but the session's real fireworks came when Hjalgran and Soline cornered Ben over his loyalty to the Queen of Thieves ahead of a possible move against her for the Spymaster Seal. Ben took his 5 gold and walked, leaving the question of his allegiance hanging unresolved as the party adjourned.

The Story So Far

The party has been assembling the seals needed to unlock the Crown of Westommar, which requires all seals present to grant its wishes. They now hold multiple seals but lack the Spymaster Seal, currently held by the Queen of Thieves, an organization Ben has undisclosed ties to. The Amethyst Academy's tower and its planar Nexus have been stabilized, restoring teleportation to Emberwood Village and reopening the world to the party.
