Before Session 16
RSG DnD
Previously on RSG DnD…
Vizier Parker sent the party to investigate the Astral Plane, dragging along a skeptical citizen who probably regrets doubting slaad were real. A ritual at a cleared Spawn Point went sideways, sucking Tim the Druid and Planerider Ryome into the Astral Plane while a Slaad burst through in their place. The party chased them through a shattered, mirrored city, fought their way to the gates, and heard a booming voice roar QUIET before making their escape with looted guardroom spoils.
The Story So Far
The Walking Lighthouse is destroyed, but its magical beam left planar knots scarring reality across the Shattered Teeth, linking the Material Plane to the Astral, Ethereal, and Inner Planes. A Grey Slaad is exploiting this instability, building Spawn Points to spread its invasion across the islands, and the party has now glimpsed its Astral staging ground surrounding a mysterious tower fortress. Jeff the Druid and his patron the Lord of Summer Skies both want the planar knots released before the damage spreads further, while the Arcanum Pansophical continues studying the instability from Thestorè. The party's latest expedition into the Astral Plane ended with Tim and Ryome recovered but a shattered city full of fleeing slaad and an unexplained commanding voice still unaccounted for.
