Thestorè stands as the last warded settlement in an archipelago scarred by planar instability, the result of a colossal Walking Lighthouse the party destroyed. That instability created planar knots linking the Material Plane to the Astral, Ethereal, and Inner Planes, and an organized Slaad invasion has moved to exploit them.
