The Story So Far

The party is escorting a sealed Lathander reliquary containing a fragment of the ancient Dawnseal, with Sister Arlanna accompanying them to safeguard it. Their journey south from Neverwinter was sanctioned by Sergeant Halric Vane, and their route along the Triboar Trail led to an ambush that revealed a black arrowhead token, a marked map fragment, a goblin captain branded with the same symbol, and references to the Barrow of Silent Rites. The party now camps overnight, deciding whether to travel directly to the Barrow or detour into Phandalin first. Unbeknownst to them, Evangeline Silverpetal is traveling east from Phandalin on the trail of a fleeing courier, placing her on a path to intersect with the group.
