Before Session 5
Terra Incognita
Previously on Terra Incognita…
Ishalem erupted in flames when the candle merchant's shop exploded, sending fire racing toward the Urecari Prime Church. Uraban cavalry attacked Tierran civilians as accusations of blame flew, and the party found themselves guiding King Korastine, Anjine, and Mateo through smoke and ambushes to the docks. They reached the royal cog just in time, watching Ishalem burn to ash as the ship sailed away.
The Story So Far
The party began as crew aboard the Fishhook, caught in an ambush off Ouroussa that nearly sparked war between Tierra and Uraba. A fragile peace was brokered through the Edict Line, dividing the world between Aiden's and Urec's descendants, and the party joined a massive pilgrimage to Ishalem to witness its signing. That peace shattered within hours when the city itself was set ablaze during the celebration, and the party escaped with the Tierran royal family as Ishalem fell into ruin behind them.
