The Story So Far
The party was hired by the Ashwick Elder to recover the Medallion of Soul Binding and destroy it, for 50 gold each. They completed the job, killed Malakar, and walked out with the medallion still in their pocket. A dead treasure hunter's crumpled note revealed the medallion is worth 500 gp according to a man named Rook, and the party quietly agreed to keep it rather than hand it over. The Elder is still waiting in Ashwick for a report on the missing men and the return of the artifact.
