ToA Tester

A test session exercised the unrecognized-speaker review gate, with Kaarl, Thrain, Bob, and Grukk logging combat action. Thrain drew first blood again, landing a crit and two kills, while Grukk barely made a dent with 5 damage. No deaths, no healing logged, just another bloody afternoon in the jungle.

Five strangers woke bound in a bandit camp with no memory of each other, fought their way free, and uncovered signs of a larger plot involving a 'Soul Monger' and a figure named Rezmir. On the road north they encountered a dying, mummifying tiger echoing the fate of a badly resurrected bandit, and were intercepted by the dying noblewoman Syndra Sylvain, who hired the party to travel south into the jungle interior to find and destroy the source of a spreading resurrection plague. The party accepted her contract and 100 gold each, and is currently en route toward Port Nyanzaru, which has not yet been visited.
