Psalms of Hell

Previously on Psalms of Hell…

The party reunited with Ajahir Mensis and a freshly freed Fenrin in the Ruby District, learning explosive lore about angels, Princes of Hell, and the Watcher Samyaza. They faked Fenrin's death to kill her collar's tracking, then infiltrated the Obitis Scolare through a sewer tunnel, battling Tesla-coil traps and mutant moaners before Deacon killed a guard and librarian to preserve their cover. The session ended with the entire party forced to confess their deepest fears aloud to a magical orb just to unlock the elevator down to Delilah's lair.

The Story So Far

Twelve years after the Scourge, the Repenters have shed their collars for good and uncovered a vast conspiracy involving fallen angels, demon princes, and a city literally chained between heaven and hell. They now know Delilah is a demon hiding atop the Obitis Scolare tower, that King Reinhold is Cain in disguise, and that Fenrin's mother Evangeline betrayed the angels David and Gabriel to their deaths. The party stands at the threshold of Delilah's lair, having just confessed their deepest fears to proceed, with the countdown toward the Scourge's final plagues ticking closer.

→Viliana is preparing a revive scroll for the party, with delivery still pending.
→The Predator Yeti's fate is unconfirmed after being thrown into a bottomless pit.
→An unidentified insectoid creature was last seen stalking the party from a steeple and may still be tracking them.
→Four scripture riddles point to Delilah, Evangeline, an unidentified ignorant angel, and someone needing nature restored, with only some of these identities confirmed.
