They fought through animated stone guardians, navigated a fire-trapped door that nearly killed Ugly, and waded through a webbed cave full of giant spiders before cracking a warrior-pose puzzle to reach Malakar's tomb. The session's defining moment came when Healy opened the boss fight with a natural 20 on a level-2 Guiding Bolt, dealing 50 radiant damage and obliterating the undead wizard before he could act. The party looted the tomb, secured the medallion, a spellbook, a plus-one dagger, and a chest of gold, completing their contract — though they've already discussed keeping the medallion for themselves.”
